Sefishi Mokgomo is the Head of Programme Management at the Infrastructure Fund (IF), a ring-fenced Division within the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). Established in 2018 following a Presidential announcement, the IF is mandated to develop blended finance solutions that attract private sector investment into South Africa\u2019s infrastructure projects. By mobilising private capital, the IF aims to reduce the financial burden on the government while accelerating infrastructure development.<\/p>
Before joining the IF, Sefishi served as a Senior Technical Manager in DBSA\u2019s Project Preparation Division, where she was responsible for infrastructure planning and design, engineering services, environmental assessments, land acquisition, property registration, and construction management. She played a key role in standardising processes to enhance programme efficiency and ensure compliance.<\/p>
Prior to her tenure at DBSA, Sefishi spent 15 years at Eskom, advancing from Technician to Standards Implementation Manager and later Portfolio Manager in the Distribution Asset Creation department.
