Mr. Clint Starling serves as the Director of Supply Chain and Asset Management at the Western Cape Department of Agriculture. In this capacity, he oversees the department’s supply chain processes and asset management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
He holds a B.Comm (Law) and LLB degree, which provides him with a strong foundation in legal and financial principles relevant to his role. He has 15 years of experience in supply chain management and asset management, bringing extensive expertise in procurement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. His responsibilities include leading and coordinating the Sub-Directorate: Supply Chain Management, formulating and customizing SCM policies and managing acquisition processes.
In addition to his role within the department, Mr. Starling actively supports the Provincial Treasury and its mandate, contributing to the repositioning of supply chain management in the Western Cape. His involvement in this strategic initiative underscores his expertise in driving transformation and enhancing the effectiveness of procurement and asset management frameworks in the province.
