Nadia Ebrahim is a public sector procurement leader with over 20 years of experience in supply
chain management (SCM), governance, and asset management. As Chief Director: Asset
Management (Acting) at the Western Cape Provincial Treasury, she drives SCM modernization,
digital procurement solutions, and strategic sourcing reforms to enhance transparency,
efficiency, and economic empowerment.
A former attorney, Nadia’s legal expertise strengthens her governance and risk management
approach, positioning her as a key architect of the Western Cape’s SCM Blueprint. She has
spearheaded e-Procurement innovations, supplier transparency initiatives, and collaborative
procurement models that align with economic transformation goals.
At Smart Procurement Conference 2025, Nadia will explore innovative procurement strategies,
focusing on cutting red tape, leveraging digital transformation, and driving performance-driven
sourcing. She will also co-host a workshop on procurement innovation, offering insights on
